A great big thank you to all the staff at Modern Training Ontario in helping me obtain my DZ licence. As an owner of a Class A gas motorhome that can sometimes tip the scales and take me outside of my G class rating (and as someone who has diesel-pusher envy), I did my diligence and called various training centres. After speaking with Debbie Grbavac, I knew I had settled on the right place, as I was immediately impressed with her knowledge of the process and her willingness to work with my schedule. I was able to complete the two-day air brake course in my first week, and under the excellent tutelage of my driving instructor Mike Spanninga and a few hours behind the wheel of a 40+ foot MCI bus, I had successfully obtained my DZ licence in the second week.
