Modern Training Ontario Inc. and its ownership of active Emergency Services Personnel have developed the following Fire Truck Defensive Driver Program to assist recruits and active firefighters in successfully obtaining their Ontario class “DZ” licence while training on a fully equipped fire truck.
The program was designed to provide the utmost level of comfort and understanding of routine safety checks and over-the-road defensive driving practices at an affordable tuition cost.
Modern Training Ontario is a full-time professional driver training facility. We work with the needs of our students to provide training that works for them.
Our Fleet of fully equipped Rescue Pumper trucks provide exposure to the main apparatus used on the fire floor today and allows the student to experience the weight, length and width challenges associated with today’s modern fire trucks.

Class DZ Fire 22 Hour Course Includes:

  • 12 Hours in Class Ontario Air Brake Endorsement Certification
  • 9 Hours In-Truck training plus use of the vehicle for the road test
